About the CEO

Khalia D. Fleming was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina in the year of 2002. Since a little girl, she has always been different. During boys and girls club, she would color blueprints of her salon building with the reception desk at the center. Alongside her desk would consist of stylist chairs, nail polishes, and wash bowls. After school, you would sometimes catch her brushing and combing her BRATZ doll’s hair.

Khalia always knew that she would be inside the beauty world, but her vision did not come to life until the year of the COVID-19 pandemic. After having a talk with her old high school friend about entrepreneurship, Khalia put the little skills she had to the test. This was the creation of her best seller Minty Moisture Hair Growth Serum.

Fast-forward to 2021 after graduating high school, she decided to attend the Austin Peay State University College of Business. After her sophomore year, she decided to take a detour in her journey and start cosmetology school. In November 2024, she graduated from The Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology and has become a licensed hairstylist.

While in cosmetology school, Khalia was battling depression. Losing her grandmother was a very difficult time for her, this prompted her to change hairstyles. She decided to cut her hair three times. She went from having platinum blonde, relaxed finger waves, to her natural kinky curls. Khalia performed services on many clients and gained wisdom from a few. Her clients wisdom provided her the love she needed to get through school.

Her favorite services consisted of blow outs, hair coloring, and her infamous silk presses. She is a PCOS advocate, she enjoys gaining knowledge to share with other women about the disorder and how it affect hair care. Khalia strives to deliver high quality services and products for her clients. Her brand has not only relied on her expertise, but with God’s vision for her company.
